Logan Rebel FM radio station’s AC/DC day at Beenleigh Tavern is expected to draw large crowds

Logan’s local radio station, Rebel FM, will host a day of tribute to the famous Australian rock band AC/DC next month, an annual event that will run for the 7th year.

Rebel FM’s Davo Drives Ya Home was overwhelmed with the number of die-hard AC/DC fans who gathered to celebrate AC/DC Day at Jacobs Well Bayside Tavern, where aaround 500 fans showed up for the live event.

“Acca Dacca is not just a band, it’s a feeling. Even if you don’t like AC/DC, you can’t help but stomp on great anthems like ‘Let There be Rock’,” says Davo.

“It was a big day on the Rebel FM calendar, but for a lot of people it was more than that, it was the biggest day of the year.

“Viva La AC/DC Day!”

This year’s event is set to be even bigger with Logan’s biggest and best pub, The Beenleigh Tavern, host of the day, where the Rebel FM team will be on site starting at noon.
